Looking Snappy with HappiSnappi Accessories

My daughter loves dressing up her look with hair bows and headbands. She has quite the collection of pretty bows and bands that she switches throughout the day. Her baby brother also loves playing with her hair accessories. When recently offered the chance to review some HappiSnappi accessories in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity at the urging of my daughter.

About HappiSnappi

The concept of HappiSnappi interchangeable accessories was designed by a child therapist to encourage creativity and self-expression in girls of all ages. The aim of the company ois to invite creativity and encourage self-expression and fun by providing quality accessories that can be changed by a snap in a snap with fun and unique embellishments.

HappiSnappi also supports the fight against childhood cancers. Each day, 45 children are diagnosed with cancer. HappiSnappi has partnered with Sadie Keller, a beautiful and courageous young warrior who was diagnosed with cancer in February 2015, in her efforts to find a cure for childhood cancers by promoting awareness and donating proceeds to her cause. Happisnappi also supports Katy’s Courage, a non-profit organization honoring Katy Stewart, a precious little girl who died of a rare pediatric cancer at age 12. The company has also supported the Annual Sunflower Run/Walk, which raises funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Price and Design

Unlike traditional accessories, HappiSnappi accessories can be changed in a snap with fun and unique embellishments that are completely interchangeable using a literal snap. I received three shimmer headbands (pink, cream, gray), two crochet headbands (cream, lime), five pony tail holders (brown, pink, lavender, lime, blue), two silver hair clips, and four embellishments (pink flower, lime flower, coral flower, pink crochet flower). Shimmer headbands cost $6.95 to $7.95 for a set of three. Crochet headbands cost $10.95 for a set of six. Pony tail holders cost $3.95 for a set of five. Two silver hair clips cost $3.95. Embellishments costs $5.95 to $7.95 for a set of two or $9.95 for a set of four.

Evaluation

My daughter loves making herself look fancy with new hair bows and headbands, so she was super excited when I showed her the box of HappiSnappi accessories. She has short hair at the moment, so she was most excited about the shimmer and crochet headbands. She immediately started putting the flower embellishments on the headbands so that she could put the headbands in her hair. Not to be left out, my son also wanted to put the flower headbands on. My son is 2, and my daughter is almost 5. Both types of headbands fit well on both their heads. The headbands are also small enough to fit on an infant but stretchy enough to fit on my adult-sized head.

Because my daughter has short hair right now, headbands work particularly well on her. She already has a couple of different headbands in her accessories stash, but I really love the concept behind HappiSnappi. Between the five headbands and four embellishments, she can have a total of twenty different looks. The embellishments snap on and off easily. (HappiSnappi does recommend removing the embellishment from the base of the snap to avoid damage to the accessory, so I have instructed my daughter that only I should switch out the embellishments at the moment.) I love that I can buy additional bands or flowers to give my daughter even more possibilities and combinations for her hair. All the snaps are the same, so, with only a few pieces from HappiSnappi, my little ones can create so many accessory combinations!

Final Verdict

With the holidays around the corner, HappiSnappi interchangeable accessories make for perfect stocking stuffers for a child who loves looking fancy. Unlike traditional hair accessories, HappiSnappi headbands, hair clips, hair ties, and hats can be changed in a snap with fun and unique embellishments that are completely interchangeable using a literal snap. With five headbands and four embellishments, my daughter can have a total of twenty different looks that she can switch in a snap. Her baby brother also loves playing dress-up with his big sister. All the snaps across the line are the same, so a little fashionista can create countless looks with only a few pieces. My daughter is definitely a fan of HappiSnappi and recommends the accessories to other little girls (and boys)!
